Data Collection

Timeline Data: All timeline content (events, dates, descriptions, images) is stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export or share it.

Analytics: We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This helps us improve the application. The analytics data is anonymized and does not track personal information.

Data Storage

Your timeline data is stored exclusively in your browser's IndexedDB. This means:

• We do not have access to your timeline content
• Your data is not transmitted to our servers
• You retain full control and ownership of your timelines
• Clearing your browser data will delete your timelines (please export to backup)

Sharing and Export

When you choose to share a timeline via public link, we temporarily store the timeline data on our servers for viewing purposes only. Shared timelines are read-only and expire after 7 days.

Exported files (PNG, PDF, PowerPoint) are generated locally in your browser and downloaded directly to your device. They are not transmitted through our servers.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Ahrefs Web Analytics: For anonymized website usage analytics
• Vercel: For hosting and content delivery

These services do not have access to your timeline content.

Your Rights

You have full control over your data:

• Export your timelines at any time in multiple formats
• Delete your timelines from your browser storage
• Use the application without creating an account
• Block analytics cookies through your browser settings
